I have been a financial adviser for 18 years. I started out as a Paraplanner at CBA then moved into a financial planning role. Shortly before the GFC I moved into a stockbroking firm where I provided financial planning advice to stock broking clients. I then joined a super fund where I was dealing with pre-retirees and retirees predominantly. After 6 years I wanted to focus on a holistic approach and joined Securitas where I have been for the last 8 years. I have an interest in finance and global markets, and how various concepts may affect movements of price (politics, interest rates, inflation, monetary policy, etc). I believe that educating my clients is an important part of the advice process as it helps to them understand benefits of advice and motivates them to adhere to their goals. On a personal note, I am married with 3 children. I support the Eagles in the AFL. I am a supporter of Liverpool in the EPL.

Here are some tips for getting prepared for our time together…
Reflect on what you want in life. Start with the next few years. Are there any changes you’d like to make, or things you’d like to do? What about 5, 10 or 25 years from now? Where do you want to live? What do you want to be doing?
Consider your attitude to money. Are you a spender or a saver? A risk taker or someone who prefers more certainty? When it comes to spending and managing money, what do you enjoy and what keeps you awake at night?
Think about the financial issues you find most challenging. Where do you think you could be making better decisions? What do you think you need to better understand? Do you understand your financial house?
Think About Your Goals. A list of your short and long-term financial objectives and any questions or concerns you may have.
We will broadly discuss all the above, so don’t worry if you don’t have the answers yet. The purpose of this initial meeting is to gain an understanding of what you want to achieve and your current financial resources.
You’ve made it this far….let’s have a conversation!
Get in TouchOur company has been built around the philosophy that in order to move forward in life you need to be giving back.
